OLOT MEATS SA is a pork slaughterhouse and processing plant located in the Girona province, in the north of Spain.

OLOT MEATS’s modern installations allow it to reach a capacity of about 7000 pork / day, (700 tones) and with possible extension to two shifts / day.

Certified company with the most prestigious international quality standards: BRC, IFS... and accredited according to Animal Welfare requirements.

OLOT MEATS’s is also a member of INNOVACC (www.innovacc.cat), association representing the cluster of the Catalan pork meat sector and aims to promote the competitiveness of enterprises through innovation and cooperation. The company has as main focus the overall operation of a refrigerator slaughterhouse, cutting and processing of meat, offal and by-products, their processing and marketing.

OLOT MEATS is part of a business group composed also by Noel Alimentaria, Càrniques Juià y Càrniques Celrà.

OLOT MEATS will be assisted in the project by a Third Party, the company NOEL Alimentaria, SAU. NOEL is a Spanish company that produces cooked pork meats (like cooked ham, Serrano ham), dishes, fresh meat and functional foods. NOEL is located between the major Spanish and Catalan meat companies and their growth has been parallel to its international expansion. Today the company is present in most European countries, Central America, South America, Africa and Asia, contributing to these markets a traditional product of our country.

The purpose of Noel is not only exporting their products, but also to become consolidated as a company and brand in strategic markets. NOEL has nine plants in the provinces of Gerona, Huesca and Teruel. The main floor is in Girona area (Spain) and it produces the full range of processed products, such as roasts and other dishes.
